A Twitch community game in development where viewers join factions, earn points and compete through themed leaderboards and OBS overlays.
About the project
Turn your stream community into rival teams with an ongoing reason to take part. Faction Frenzy combines viewer faction assignments, points and seasonal competition with on-stream visuals that match your channel.
What it includes
- Let viewers join a randomly assigned faction through !jointhebattle and check their allegiance with !myfaction.
- Track faction standings and viewer points, with commands for moderators and broadcasters to award points.
- Choose preset themes or customise faction names, colours and artwork for your community.
- Show faction sorting and leaderboards through configurable OBS browser-source overlays.
- Manage current and upcoming seasons, reward descriptions and past-season history.
Current progress
The local project includes a streamer dashboard, Twitch integration, faction and points data, overlay settings and season-management screens. Mascot reveal and temporary faction-buff redemptions are still marked as coming soon in the project.
Built with
JavaScript and HTML dashboards, an Express API, and Firebase hosting, functions and data storage with Twitch integration.
